On August 1, 2022, Nippon Chemical Texas Inc. teamed up again with the City of Pasadena, The Pasadena Chamber of Commerce, and the Pasadena Independent School District (P.I.S.D) for their 5th annual drive to collect school supplies and hygiene items for children enrolled in P.I.S.D., while empower-ing teachers to decide which materials are best for their own classrooms. This was the 4th year of participation by NCTI.
A total of 19 pallets of supplies and over $35,000 were collect-ed. NCTI made a one-time donation of $5000.00 to support this effort to lend a helping hand to prepare students in our community for the 2022-2023 school year.
The teachers loved all the supplies and the ones who did not receive supplies, received a gift card to purchase supplies.
Together, volunteers helped raise all Pasadena I.S.D. students to the next level of excellence in education.
